Office of Undergraduate Research awards 12 research scholarships

In partnership with Purdue’s Office of Undergraduate Research, Purdue Polytechnic awarded 12 scholarships to undergraduate students to recognize their engagement in original research, scholarship, or creative work under the guidance of faculty mentors. Students are studying robotics in construction education, perceptions of STEM stereotypes, social engineering attacks, and the effects of pulsed die lube spray on high pressure die casting, among other projects.

The Department of Computer and Information Technology (CIT) will host its inaugural CIT Career Fair on September 13, 2018. The CIT Career Fair will be especially for companies who need employees specializing in information technology, network engineering technology, systems analysis and design, and cybersecurity.

Cybersecurity Camp for girls returns this June

The Purdue University Cybersecurity Camp, offered for free to 40 female incoming 9th through 12th grade students, will return to Purdue’s West Lafayette campus June 17–22, 2018. The camp will be the only residential GenCyber student program to be offered in Indiana and surrounding Midwestern states.
